Based on the short story �One Is One and All Alone� written by Nicholas Fisk,one of the themes is that there are consequences when we temper with the natural order of life.In the story, Trish got an idea from the word clone �clone� that she learns from the VoicePrinter and decides to clone herself.She calls her clone Clo.Clo and Trish are identical and they even think the same way.Initially,Trish is happy to have a clone to play with and talk to;however,Clo starts to wear Trish down.Soon enough,Trish feels that her privacy is being constantly invaded by Clo and decides to get rid of her,by dumping her into space as space rubbish.As clones think alike,it is in fact Clo who dumps Trish into space as space rubbish in the end.In conclusion,one of themes of this short story is that are consequences when we temper with the natural order of life.We should not temper with the natural order of life as we are uniquely created by God.We cannot see or know what will happen if we disturb the natural order of life and it might cost us our very own life.

Based on the short story �One Is One and All Alone� written by Nicholas Fisk,one of the moral values that I have learnt is children need adult supervision so that they will not go down the wrong path.Trish's father is always busy working as the Executive Officer of the space spaceship.He is a very capable man who is also very busy with his work.He is able to tell that there are changes in his child's mood.As a parent,he is constantly on the lookout if Trish is doing fine on the spaceship.The only unfortunate circumstances,he is unable to spend much time with Trish.This leads to Trish spending her time exploring things that lead her down the wrong path,she got curious and decided to clone herself in lab.She is lonely and requires attention,however her father is always busy working.Her new clone,Clo,was fun to have around initially.Soon enough,Trish found Clo annoying and decides to dump Clo into space.To her dismay,Trish gets dumped into space instead.Her father does not know about this and Clo assumes Trish's identity in the spaceship.In conclusion,I have learnt
that children need adult supervision so they will not go down the wrong path.They cannot think so far ahead and proper guidance is necessary to develop the child's mind appropriately.
